Better to hear it from me now than later from the LEO holding it while he's in handcuffs, yes? ;) It's still legal to own, so he doesn't have to take a chance to keep it or have to get rid of it...he just can't legally carry it.
 
Aye, the dagger is a great ED, just not a EDC in most states. :) Very nice though, good score.

Thinking the same myself. We've got people on other subforums griping that Liu Kang is a Dealer who makes money off Busse but never participates in discussions.

Now here he is with a classic discussion topic, giving us all a chance to see a great variety of potential EDC choices, and the negative vibes are trying to chase him out. Not cool.

If anyone came here to bad-mouth him, -- please don't. Lean back, relax, pour yourself a drink, gather round the trough, and enjoy the show.
 
I am not familiar with the law much, but is there a loophole (excuse the pun) by using the 3 talon holes and lashing it to a spear and then he can say it is a tribal weapon? I know where I am from that usually is an untouchable defence.

Just wondering, trying to help.
 
As long as you don't conceal it I believe that a spear would be legal in most states. :)

I think we need a death-chat for the Busse Spear next.

WOW, I just searched it and it looks to be true. I live in the middle of nowhere here in Pa and I know I wouldn't get into trouble cause I don't do anything stupid... but I really love this thing, it might not be worth the risk...
So should I move to a different state?:D
Hmmmm... it took a lot of work to make this one happen, guess I can keep trying... How it is I can carry a gun concealed and I can't carry this little knife... I know, I know, I'm just saying...
Can I find something to top this one? Ok, let's make that a goal:D
 
What gun do you carry?

Knife and gun laws are very bizzare. Anyone that is not a felon and over 21 can concealed carry a handgun in Alaska. However we have the same no dagger, boot, switchblade or concealed knife laws as many other states.

I cut myself enough with a single edge knife, so I stay away from double edge ones!

Actually I am surprised that the Busse folders that have been produced have not been posted here.

It isn't worth the risk...and here's why:

You will...lose that custom. That's a given, unless the LEO is extremely cool about not charging you and actually hands it back over. This would be rarer than most rare Busse's!! ;)

If convicted, you will also face the loss of your CCW.

Toss in legal fees, court costs, and fines... and most likely not, but a short stay at the Greybar Motel is a possibility.

...Not worth it! :D
