Hate my blur - How about you?

Because they don't make a Blur without Speedsafe. If they did, I would have bought it.

Same thing with the ZT 0350.

i always wondered why they didn't make an unassisted blur, for the unassisted crowd.:p i'm sure it would sell.

Loved my red-handled Blur to death. It was a terrific knife for the money. The one and only reason I passed mine on was I wanted to let my best friend experience it for himself.

I am also in the minority, I can't stand Blurs. Every time I handle one I get excited and think "this time I'll understand the hype!!!" and every time I'm disappointed :(

I think most of us will agree that it is a good quality knife from a manufacturer with an excellent reputation, with a sensible price tag. Beyond that, there are lots of personal, subjective, reasons for each of us to like it or not.

I own an S30V version and use it very often. I like the blade to handle ratio, blade shape and ergonomics.

I love all mine. I'd suggest giving it to a loving home and not buying knives with features you dislike in the future.

I am not a tanto fan and really don't care for serrated blades much at all but my Blur have both these features and I love it.
It is comfy and light, opens easily and cuts anything you throw at it.

IMO it is ugly as sin but it is a great worker knife.
Seriously considering getting a plain blade in S30V next.

Hey, they're not for everyone right? At least you gave it a shot and that's all anyone can ask for. I think it will find a loving home and great idea with the giveaway. Cheers!

Mine was red also. Someone liked it many years ago so I gave it to him. It was alright, nothing special one way or the other to me. The new owner promptly opened his thumb with it. I also gave away a Junkyard Dog 2 I believe, the big one. I kind of wish that I kept that now though. The price on those has doubled since I owned one. Maybe the steel is upgraded, dunno.

I love the blur its a great knife. Excellent value for money and so many different options which is why so many of us collect it. I don't think I have heard very many people have less than good things to say about the blur. Like so many have said here if you don't like it give it away to someone who will

Blurs are great for the money, but even eith the grip tape , assist removed or altered not for me.
The clip is horrible, thumb studs uncomfortable.
Sold mine but glad I tryed it out.

I had one for a while and it was a good knife. The only thing I didn't like about mine was the black coated blade. It was a fine knife (I got the regular, plain-edged version) but was just bigger than I needed. I ended up selling it to a friend who likes it.

I would have hated a tanto serrated blade myself.

I had two that I used a lot for a long time, a black one with the silver twill inlay, and a grey one. Sold them both a while back and they went to a good home. They were ok, not among my favorites though.

Mine is stored across the country, so I can't check to be sure, but I believe the Blur is one of the few AOs Kershaw makes that comes with a detent hole drilled in, in which case all it takes is removing the torsion bar.

I like mine (PE, S30V). So far I haven't minded the rough grip texture although I've thought about smoothing it a bit under the clip.

My blur deploys very well (fast) and has a good blade size and interesting blade shape. I would prefer to not have the small recurve, and I would prefer to have a satin blade and not stonewashed.

I've found when comparing various assisted and non-assisted knives that the blur opens the fastest and most positively. This is due to the large and sharp thumbstuds that are easy to hit with your thumb and easy to push.
