Myself, my wife Nichole and famed cowboy singer Dave Stamey after a private concert in our backyard for Nichole's 50th birthday:

Dave took a break between sets and some headed into the kitchen for shots:

Dave himself was carrying a traditional folder in a belt sheath when he surprised Nichole at the front door. She had no idea about what we'd arranged for her birthday. A pretty cool little vid:

After the concert Dave stayed for tacos. He ended up playing about 30-40 minutes longer than he was suppose too so I'm guessing he was having fun too. Here he'd just finished hugging Nichole good bye:

While Dave didn't have a Horsewright knife before, he left with this one:

We did some trading.

Well done, Dave! Sounds like a pretty great birthday. Some nice looking hats all around, too.

Thank you! It was a fun day for sure! Nichole's and my hat are customs by KJ Murphy"s Custom hats. I don't know on the others of course but there were quite a few.

Some really fine wide open spaces, total panorama look, the cosmos must be fantastic at night. Everybody always looks so fit & alert in your pix, credit to the way of life. Load of windmills have turned up I note.

I was learning to drive in Beirut in 1978. The driving instructor picked me up in a Willis Jeep. Soon after, he stopped "to get cigarettes", and I moved over into the driving seat. He came back from the shop with a 6-pack of Schlitz, and offered me one. Needless to say, I was a bit surprised, and declined. He drank all 6 in about 30 minutes! I did pass my test though
