Myself, my wife Nichole and famed cowboy singer Dave Stamey after a private concert in our backyard for Nichole's 50th birthday:

Dave took a break between sets and some headed into the kitchen for shots:

Dave himself was carrying a traditional folder in a belt sheath when he surprised Nichole at the front door. She had no idea about what we'd arranged for her birthday. A pretty cool little vid:

After the concert Dave stayed for tacos. He ended up playing about 30-40 minutes longer than he was suppose too so I'm guessing he was having fun too. Here he'd just finished hugging Nichole good bye:

While Dave didn't have a Horsewright knife before, he left with this one:

We did some trading.

Thanks. It was fun. There were four separate surprises we were able to pull off. 1) Our son Josh that is in the Army and stationed in Florida was able to get leave and sneak home for a few days with out mom knowing he was coming. 2) Dave ringing the doorbell. 3) the 50 or so folks that were here that she didn't know about until she had changed and come out for the concert and 4) See reply to JohnDF below.

It really was. He's one of those few artists that actually sound better live, not all studio.
