I'd take an evening with 12 angry men any day. That's one of those movies that just left an everlasting impression on me.

Once upon a time in the West.

+1 for Once upon a time in the West

In "The American" with George Clooney, George's character walks into a bar in Italy and "Once upon a time in the West" is playing on the T.V. I had just watched Once upon a time in the West for the first time the night before I took my wife to see The American. I almost fell out of my seat when I heard that harmonica playing as George walked into the bar. Freaky.

All these movies make me wanna lay around and watch some movies all day :thumbup:

With the storm going on right now, that's about 6all we CAN do! Hopefully the power doesn.t go out...:eek:

Saw "Rolling Thunder" with William Devane at old dudes beer and movie night last week end. Damn good real 70's film noir with a Pekinpah vibe caught the 70's military ziet giest pretty good. Pretty bleak and non PC.

That is my favorite quote from Gladiator as well. Great movie. You can't overlook other classics such as;
Red Dawn
The Dirty Dozen
*the original The Italian Job
Animal House
Fight Club
The Shining
The Graduate
American Graffiti
Evil Dead
American Outlaws
and so many more

And two more good movies Forrest Gump and The Green Mile. They are two of the best. You can go any where and say Life is like a box of chocolates or Run forrest run and people know what your talking about. And the Green Mile is just one of the best one of the only movies to make this big guy shed a tear.
