Great free to air TV last night - REPO MEN (2010) starring: Jude Law, Forest Whitaker, Alice Braga. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1053424/
A very, very blade action filled movie that I would love you experts to identify the various models used. Great twists and ending. I nearly missed it as it did't start till after midnight and I thought it would be a vehicle recovery type plot. How wrong could I be! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1053424/

Also watched 'THE EAGLE' (2011) starring: Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, Donald Sutherland, last night a great flick too with plenty of Roman vs British tribes blade and tomahawk action.

I saw that saturday night with my roommates. It wasnt as good as I was told, but still pretty good.

I went into the movie with very few expectations, so I was hoping that I wouldn't be let down. I thought it was one of the better "horror" movies that have been put out recently.

Last night I went to see Red 2, it was pretty good but the first one was still better.

Old devil film club played "The Big Red One"( reconstructed)- with Lee Marvin, last week end. Sam Fullers classic war movie. The reconstruct is x10 better then the film they released in 1980- a classic non PC war movie, that would never get made today.

Fuller was a combat Vet- damn good movie- the reconstruct fills in the gaps.

Check it out!!

Watched The Collection earlier on Netflix. Saw it in theaters when it first came out back in Nov and was a bit disappointed considering how much I liked it's predecessor The Collector but I did enjoy this a bit more on my 2nd viewing. If you've seen the first one, they definitely amped up the gore and kill count (literally like over 50 people die within the first 10 mins all in a gruesome, bloody manner). You do have to turn your mind off at certain parts in the movie as some of the plot points and traps set up by The Collector are a bit ludicrous if not downright implausible but then again, it's a horror film so that's nothing new. Anyway if your a fan of the torture sub-genere of horror movies like the Saw or Hostel franchises or just like really gory slasher movies, I'd recommend this movie and it's predecessor The Collector.
