Have you bought your last knife??

Only when they stop making them, or when I am unable to appreciate one. Guys, I've been on a streak buying one brand for about 6 weeks. Still have a few models/variations to get. For those who say we can't use that many knives, I have one in my hand when I'm not busy doing something else. Watching tv, reading, surfing the web, etc, I am always opening and closing one. Just feeling that fine smooth quality.

For me, a knife is art first and a cutting tool second. Art not only from a design perspective, but also in the execution and precision of manufacturing. I'm sure plenty of people around here don't share that opinion, but I don't know how anyone could maintain a long-term interest in knives if you think of them as strictly utilitarian tools.

I agree. I guess that is why, on occasion, I find myself with two dozed or so NIB folders just sitting there, and I know I'm never going to carry one of them. Such as four Caly 3's in SB, four Sage 2's, up to twenty or more PM2's in various steels. But the majority of those are long gone. I am slowing down. I have had "almost" everything that I would like...occasionally see a new folder from South Africa or wherever that looks very nice.

Take up knife making....that'll slow down your buying if you start cheaply. There are worse things to be addicted to.

Funny you mention knife making, I wish I had the skills. As far as other addictions, I also went a little overboard buying hand guns I guess it's just an addictive behavior, but I'd be bored otherwise.

I am done I am happy with my small collection of 8 knives, my last transaction will be a silver twill scale for my southard, unless I could find a Slysz bowie for $100.

Last knife.... it's Christmas! What else do knife nuts want for Christmas besides a new car?

There was business card I read the other day and on the back it said "the man who has more knives than pockets will always buy another knife " I thought yup pretty much
