Have you ever sold a knife, or anything else, and deeply regretted the decision?

All of my previous VWs were TDIs. The TDI wasn't available in '08 when I bought the Passat. I had an '02 Jetta TDI before that. It was my favorite car of all time. I have owned a few KTM's as well. I still have the 525sx I used to race motocross on, but haven't ridden in the past 5 years. My family got into DH mountain biking and racing BMX for a few years. The local hill closed down, and two knee surgeries put a damper on it. I've started tuning the bikes up now that spring is here in my neck of the woods and the knees are as good as they will get.

Joe, that Ducati looks like it should be on display in your living room. A modern sculpture.

Since you say "or anything else" - back in the 80s, I sold my entire collection of vinyl records for a tenner. Must've been mad - I bet some of them would be worth a bob or two now.

I sold an LC Smith 12ga field grade I inherited from my Grandfather. Made in 1941 or somewhere thereabouts. It was an awesome gun that shot excellent. Sold it to a collector that hounded me for weeks because it would round out his collection with every grade from the same time period. I still have a few guns from each of my grandfathers but that one was really special. At least I know it's being taken care of.
