Have you seen the new manix 2 lightweight!?!

Never owned a Manix. Never cared for the Translucent scaled version. Liked the sprints but not the secondary market prices. Saw this one and couldn't stop myself. Pre-ordered.

Are you (expletive) kidding me!? If this thing can cost just over $100 with arguably the highest end steel available that means either we are being severely overcharged for the normal Manix LW, or Spyderco decided to make a production knife with next to no profit margin.

Can you swap blades between the lightweight and regular manix 2?

I don't have either any more, but if I remember correctly the Manix 2 has a much thicker blade, and if the pivot is the same on the LW version as it is on the standard, the blade will not be able to be removed due to it being pinned instead of screwed together.

The scales are pinned, so its a no go for me. I clean and lube all of my knives by disassembling them. So not being able to takes if off the list. Great price for a 110 knife though.

Not a bad price for S110V but I'm no longer interested in FRN. I know they went that direction to cut costs but I would have paid a bit more for G-10 or a lot more for CF.

Thank you so much for posting this! I've wanted a Manix2 LW, but don't like the normal BD1 steel. For S110V, this is a simply incredible deal.

Same here. FRN ruins this knife for me. I'd love to have S110V but no FRN for me.

Spyderco is superior when it comes to listening to and delivering upon their customers' wishes. Sweet knife but I'm waiting for the lightweight and/or carbon fiber native, both upcoming.

I would love to try some S110V goodness but knife being pinned turns me off.....Ill have to see on this one its still a steal at that price

I will get one of these, but I will wait until it is available.

I am glad to see that it will be a regular production model too.

I don't mind the FRN handle, as I already have the previous version.
