Havok!

Updates? anything? Bueller?
It is almost ready for glue up! I decided to bring the flats to a higher finish. I have a also etched my signature on it.

I tried making a "Havok" stencil for it and it didn't look good so I decided to just go with the signature.

I also did a little testing and it is just scary, it sinks very deeply into wood.

The ricasson half of the grind is a near zero bevel so it will still do detail work as well as chopping.

The Havok is glued up! Here it is prepped up for epoxy. I have it at a nice satin finish, you can almost make out the camera's reflection.

Sweet!

I also picked up my package from you today, I wasn't around when they delivered so I had to go to the PO. Took pictures, and now I have something to wear to the knife show :)

Excellent! I'm sorry I didn't let you know about the package coming, I usually always send an email out for knives but my internet has been down intermittently since I mailed it.

I can't wait to see the pictures and I hope you really enjoy the knives!

Last night, I saw these updated pics and just sat there, wanting to post something but couldn't think of anything to say.

Today, same thing. I look at the pics and I have a hard time breathing.

That looks amazing!

:) he took your drawing and turned it into a real beast. Congratulations gooeytek - it's alive!

Looks amazing Daniel.

Excellent! Imagine the sheath with a firesteel loop. :D

The one thing I can't show in a photo and that is the balance and feel of the blade, it feels very fast and somewhat light for such a huge blade... the weight forward gives it tons of power.
