  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

hdd big brother

In the early 1990s there was a company based out of Lima Ohio. they manufactured a boot style knife called the bodyguard.

the knife in the middle is an unfinished bodyguard knife. the knife on the left is a finished bodyguard. same steel/ handle dimensions as the hdd a decade or two later. I thought that interesting.

now you know the rest of the story. anybody familiar with the bodyguard knife or info on that company?

The left two knives look different. Jimping, coating, handle. Are they from the same company?

yes. the middle knife is an unfinished knife. It would have became the knife on the left.

Are you saying that Busse copied the knife? What was the name of the company?

That sheath is very unique! I like it.

works very well. push your thumb into the center and withdraw. I have been thinking about filing the inside of one to try to get the hdd to fit. I don't know if its the coating, but the hdd will not go in....smoothly. so I didn't force it. I would like to see a big gulp infi version of the hdd.

local flea market. if they wouldn't have been in the original sheaths, I wouldn't have recognized them.
