Headed to SHOT Show in the AM

Got a chance to talk to Tooj this morning...... A very pleasant talk it was too.......

I expect the Trades Momentarily...... Trade will be receiving the thanks of a populace happy that he has condescended to his rightful place as Mayor and Supreme Ruler of the Duchy of Lost Wages and It's Environs......LOL, Gag, LOL......

Anyway, sales meeting this afternoon and then an always delightful and occasionally productive Knife Rights Dinner/ Board Meeting....... Lots to celebrate as Knife Rihts has gotten a lot of knife positive laws passed in a passel of states this past year....... Almost enough to restore my faith in the legislative process(at least at the state level)..... Got stuff cooking at the national level too.....Check it out at www.kniferights.org ........Show opens on the morrow...... Should be fun.....

Work on VA a bit. Can't stick my 14 in my pocket because it's considered concealing a dirk, dagger, bowie or knife of like kind which no one really can interpret because it's the government..
 
Say ... did anyone remember to bring along their Beckerhead gear (growlers, hats, etc)?

Kinda cool to take some snaps of it perched near Vegas landmarks and on the KaBar tables, right next to all the new goodies.

The folder thing has been tried. The problem is Becker's hard use does not come cheap in a folding knife. And Becker's affordable price does not lend itself to complicated designs. Sometime if you get down to Half moon ridge you should check out the folder that E came up with. It's a special kind of something!

Oh. I intend on trying to get to at least one gathering in my lifetime so hopefuly I will get to see it, but it may be difficult to convince my dad to drive me to TN on a whim :D I might be able to bait him with SMKW. :p

Does anyone have info on who will be posting/blogging/vlogging SHOT booth info, especially pertaining to knives?

Does your Dad like hunting or fishing or camping or rafting or hiking or mountain-climbing or pretty much anything else outdoorsy? There are lots of great spots for that stuff within a quick drive of Ethan's place.

Danny Tran of Inner Bark Outdoors on you tube will cover knives. Mainly TOPS because he has his design licensed to them. Don't know if he'll cover many other manufacturers. Preparedminded101 will cover knives as well as Equip To Endure. All of these are YouTube channels and have uploaded vids daily.

He's an outdoorsy person, I think he just enjoys his version of outdoors more than he enjoys other types. :D I keep telling him about the food, too, that might get him. :D
