You should be able to disassemble completely by removing the screws.
Needless to say, reassemble in the open position, not closed!! That assisted opening spring will cause havoc.
Be very careful with the sharp blade, a little tape over the edge is always prudent.

I just received my order yesterday. Just knives rattling around in a big box with no case or anything. But, you know what? For 15 to 20 dollars apiece I'll take them wrapped in newspaper!

Well, that is close to the end for the Heat then!!
Trust me, Camillus won't be getting any more! They even screwed the Taiwanese knife maker (as well as Darrel Ralph for the knife design, & Bill Taylor for the assisted opening design, & Kershaw for the patent fight agreement.....)

I'm not kicking Camillus, I still like the company, but.....
Don’t get too teary eyed about the ROBO Assist knife. I have it from a good source that Ontario Knife Co. will be importing the same knife soon. I don't think you'll be getting them for $15 to $20 (in fact I know you'll pay more). But let’s face it this was a $70.00 retail knife when Camillus was selling them. Believe me Dealers were paying double that ($15-$20) price in 2006. I know where there are about 400 + knives in each model, they will be around for a while. Don’t for get about the dealers sitting on knives in their inventory. Allot of dealers have knives in inventory that would have to take a few big lumps if they even got rid of the knives wholesale.
It is my opinion that Ontario is waiting for the Camillus ROBO knives to dry up. Then they will introduce the Ontario ROBO Assist knife. Ontario is a First Class USA knife company. They may or may not tweak them to make them their own, we’ll see.
When they let them fly be the first on the block to get one
