Heavy Duty fixed blade

lol. Manix fixed...well I suppose it could happen...I just checked out the Benchmade fixed griptilian. Looks pretty nice.

I havent been able to break either one of my glock knives. At $30 I am in no way opposed to abusing them, in some cases just for fun. Theyre very stout.

Go with Busse, or swamp rat
if yo ucan't afford one of those, do what i did and get the
Timberline Lightfoot Zambezi

I'm honestly shocked. As someone new to the higher end knife collections, I figured Randall would be right at the top. But, nobody has said much in a positive way about them.
How do they justify the high cost, and why the hell is there a 4 year wait?

I love my Randall Model 14. Some people like more modern designs, however. Also, the steel and heat treatment in Randall's could be better. The carbon Randall's are made with O1 steel that is left rather soft, and thus do not have the edge-holding of more modern knives like Busses, Fehrmans, etc.

Many stores sell Randalls, so you don't have to wait four years to get one. The prices in stores are higher, though.
