Heavy Ordnance Grade Basic 8 . . . HOGB8 . . . Specs, Pricing, & Pics!!!

At 17.5 oz for the regular version that Jerry weighed, it's going to be an amazing performer in all aspects, but definitely no slouch in the chopping department. All while being light enough to EDC.;)

Thanks for all the pics. I’m really liking the muddy brown with the tan

I just added this spine shot to my original post. . .

SPINE SHOT!!! . . . . HOGB8 on top. . . Regular Basic 8 on bottom!

Ok, I'm sold.

That looks better than I thought it would. And at 17ish oz at its heaviest, this just became one of those *boing* moments that somehow correlates with pants feeling tight.

OK, maybe I'm overthinking this ... (that's my analytical, scientist brain) ... but from the pics, it looks like the BIG DC has the narrowest edge grind. That might suggest that it has the thinnest thickness behind the edge. That connotes to superior chopping performance.

OTOH, who am I kidding; I reprofile all my Bussekin choppers anyway! (save for the B8LE)

I thought that I might be able to resist this one until Will delved into those posts about the Long Clip variant, which is just beautiful, and now I am weakening. A few more drinks should do it.

What to sell, what to sell?????

Hey Boss
Thank U for the spine shot.
Since U have that HOGB8 Handy, please toss it in the Box. I"ll PM you my address shortly.

I wana thank all the Hogs that kept HOGB8 thread going, and of course The Boss for listening.

I didn't even know id like HOGB8 this much, but something about Satin .35 slab of INFI in that handle.... is just Tooo Dannn Irasistable lol

Okay, that is the last Bussekin I am buying this year... unless they drop a wicked fighter on me.

Why is it so hard to get a spine shot??!!

I will pay 427 bucks for a spine shot....
