 Wow! That's incredible work. This is actually very helpful because I've been looking for a tutorial on how to work a guard to look like braid. What are the tools you're using to carve?

Thank You mate .
I use chisels and litle hammers ,the normal hammer for engravers ,the chisel purchased or self-made prices ,HS B.G.Muller and HSS ,and I'm using an interesting material the name of which I do not know ,This is a Japanese robot punching tool these brushed off the chisels .

Very interesting pictorial tutorial. Thanks so much for a peek into an true artists processes. I would love to see the finished dagger also.

Thanks for the information. Very fine work!

Wow! I love seeing an ancient art still being used instead of machines, words cant justify it but here are some anyways, amazing, incredible, and inspiring

Wow. That is truly jaw dropping. I saw a knife and was shown a similar process at the Twin Blades shop once. I was amazed at their patience. How did you darken the background metal (the stipled part) in the finished piece?

Beautiful work! It looks like you are doing most of the work with chisels and at least first
stage polishing with files. What (if anything) else are you doing for the final finish?

Hard enough to do that in a soft metal like gold, silver or brass, but to do that in steel is incredible! You are truly an artist!

That's fantastic!
I thought it was looking pretty good at the 5th picture hahaha, but that's about as far as my skills would take me.....
