I will try to answer all your questions
,,I was amazed at their patience. How did you darken the background metal (the stipled part) in the finished piece?,, I painted this section to see the details ,the color will be given after the heat treatment .
,, What (if anything) else are you doing for the final finish?,,At Finish I use Files and sandpaper smooth .
The work is still very much lacking ,Perhaps 450-500 hours or more IDK .Thank you all for your interest .
