Hello from Alaska, Finally Took the Plunge..

Russ, it was great to meet you and your lovely wife. Thanks again for the smoking deal on the knife and the warm welcome to the Busse crew. Cant wait to have some kind of Alaska/Busse coffee sipping stitch and bitch meeting.

Michael

Can you guys wait till I get back from Unalaska??

I'm up for another Busse Family get together with show and tell.

Certainly,

I was going to wait for my son to come up from Homer and try to get together for coffee and lies.

Not sure when he will be here next but we will let you Alaskans know when he heads up.

Of course, we can always meet without him and talk smack about him behind his back!

Have fun in Unalaska and stay the hell out of bush planes!

Sad day for us. :(

Dave,
What the heck are you doing out in NOT Alaska??? Did you go to any of the WW2 bunkers??? Hope the flying is perfect as we all know what happening to Senator Ted Stevens. Flag were quick to go to half mast here. Damn fine man and will be missed.

Get yourself back in one piece Bro!!! Saw and spoke to Brian (KAAK) Tuesday on my way through Anchorage and he will be heading back to VA and school Thursday of next week. So we are to late to get him in the game.

Zach,
Cool Bro just let us know when you are coming up for sure, or at least your Dad and he can yell at me.

We will need to stat a thread so all of us can chime in on when an where.

I am OFF shift the 22nd through the 28.

Mike,
Great meeting you as well Brother and welcome to the madness. It's a lot of fun, great people, and better knives. Jerry and crew are best going, pure and simple. This is a small company with old school American, dreams and attitudes of how things use to be, just using modern steel and better forms of manufacturing. I frankly won't buy anything BUT Busse Combat anymore.

1911 junkies huh?

:D I like that quote.

Nice leather too.......who made it?

It is going to be two very, very, very, looooong months of waiting. The pain hasn't even really started yet! Sweaty palms, nightmares, anxiety attacks...

But guess what?? I hope that your inbox is not full because you will be receiving a tracking number from me later today! How is that for painful?:)

Lexi

Well Michael, looks like you won't have to wait that long after all.

Very nice job, Lexi.

Lexi,

Bring the pain!! BRING IT!!!

Seriously, you can't ask for better customer service and communication.

I am actually driving to Wasilla this evening and picking up an AD in sage with OD G10.

Now I have the beginning of a happy INFI family.

All the folks at Busse and this forum ROCK!

Michael

Oh no ......you better take the hogs advice and cut up your card before it's too late!!! ;)

In all seriousness, I love my BAD, and your new AD will make a nice EDC for ya.

.........you find yourself living in a van down by the river.

Hahaha......love it. :D

RIP Chris Farley :(

The leather is from Josh Bulman at Bulman Gunleather. I think his stuff is absolutely top notch; the Busse of gunleather. I have leather from Milt Sparks, Tauris Gunleather, Wild Bills, etc and the Bulman stuff is hands down the best. He uses the best materials, excellent designs and flawless workmanship.

I mean no disrespect to any leathersmiths that are part of this forum, as I haven't seen their work, but I wouldn't buy from anyone else.

Of course, now that I have gone over to the Busse darkside I wont have any money to buy gunleather anyway. Problem solved!
