They have had a week to kill me and have not got the job done yet.. but, by damn, I will give them credit for trying. Last Sunday Dr. Juell cut out about half my large intestine and installed a couple of by passes for food in and waste out.
The by passes Cao stay or go. I'am working on go. My big problems are can't eat. No appetite. And run way down. Weight 130 Lbs. Need at least 20 more.
When I get to eating ok and have more or less normal bms it's off to home go.
So, I figure a week or so and I should be ready for home.

Pala is in NYC staying with daughter just younger than Yangdu and plans to come here as soon as I get home.

Then watch out for crazy sales. We will have Pala, Yangdu, and me all with special deals.

So, stay tuned and thanks a million for prayers and good thoughts.

Oh, him. He'll be back soon, he's just scoping out the nurses like he used to do the waitresses at the Golden Nugget. :D

Great to hear from you, Uncle Bill:) Getting your guts poked and removed has got to be one of the worst things a person can go through. They are one of the first things to shut down when you have a problem and hurt like a sonuvva buck to fix and get over. Smoke and prayers still going up.

Great to hear from you Uncle Bill! I am suffering serious HIKV withdrawal symptoms as I detoxify from sending you a couple of PayPals per week! Some private sales have helped but it's just not the same. ;)

My wife is thrilled to see the bank account stabilize for the first time in over a year, but we'll fix that as soon as you return. :D

Glad to see you online and best wishes for a complete recovery, needed weight gain and a few solid pain free days!

Bill, It's good to see you again. Several times a day I've been checking in just with the hope of seeing a post by you.
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of the intestine. I've had about 10" of intestine removed before and it helped a lot. Different reasons I know, but I hope it helps you as much as it helped me. I've also been in the "no appetite" zone. I had to start looking at food as simply fuel for my body. I needed fuel to heal and hate a half full tank. :D Keep your tank full Bill. The eating for pleasure came back soon enough.
As always, you and Yangsu are in our hearts.
