First post in here ! My name is Ron LaBella and I am sending in a Buck knife for repair. I sent it out today USPS Priority for a little refurb in your spa. The tip of the blade had an unfortunate accident and some "separation anxiety" occurred as a result.

I just wanted to start a thread in here to alert folks that Ron LaBella has the first Buck knife he owns ( out of many past/previous/and to come ) that has needed tog o back.

Hello all and enough of my ramblings!

Ron

...but what model Buck was it???...

Pics are required! Also the story on how you uh, 'unfortunately accidentally broke' the tip so that it needs repair... :D

...???...Does it say "Custom" on the other side of the tang??? Buck uses the anvil symbol for Custom Shop knives, too...like your 110, which seems to be missing the "110" on the tang...heh, heh... :D ;)

no CUSTOM, but I may go for a blade swap upgrade to s30v

Ron

OK- Buck110,

Tell to me your username there and I will start to play the deconstruct another forum game with you. I am the leader and do NOT charge fees. I pay the bills from my pocket and from my paycheck. If someone wishes to lend a hand I usually say "no thank you", but I would love to charge a manufacturer to have a special section set up specifically for them. Another thing that bothered me was your use of the term "filthy", go look it up in any dictionary and rethink your stance, filthy covers a broad spectrum my friend.

~*Back on topic*~, Jerzee Devil is not, and never will be Blade Forums. I do not let discussions get so far out of hand... I ask you to show me *on* Jerzee Devil who you are and what concerns you, and the URL of your forum and how *you* are running "it".

thanks for your contribution to THIS thread

Ronald P. LaBella Jr., owner of a knife being sent back to Buck Knives that is in dire need of repair

thanks everyone else for your input so far

Ron:

That's not a bad site you have there. With better organization, individual knife manufacturers categories, and the absence of filthy material, that could grow to be quite a site. That's the second best knife site I have personally visited. It's much better than knifeforums...but it's not BladeForums.
Yeah, its better:D

okayyyyyyy, I am now defending my site ( more or less ) because I want to get my knife fixed. Mr. Buck 110 I try my hardest to keep the ball rolling, I linked one thread not the site. Again, feel free to discuss this there, and I do apologize thanks for the positive comment.

Joe Houser please help me get my knife fixed up and back home safe and soon!:p

...Hiya Ron...Great to see ya pop into the Buck Forum...Joe Houser will get that ol' 110 patched up like new...You really could slip in here a bit more often too ya know...  :p

fair enough, Darryl! I hope the feeling stays as warm!I had known about BG-42 but was unaware that Buck was able to throw a s30v blade up in there! *wooT*

All the best

Ron

...Actually the BG-42 may be a thing of the past with Buck...They do have the S30V available I understand but I'm still a bit in the dark as to the general availability of any of the premium steels as standard knife upgrades...I know they have the S30V in the Custom Shoppe for the customs but there has been a moratorium on upgrades for standard knives...Let us know what happens Ron...

AG is a good guy, too! I will stay on target Darryl, I promise!

Ron

Cool Deal you stopping in here Ron!!!!

I registered on your site, but just don't seem to get there enough... Maybe I will change my ways.

OK- Buck110,

...

Lighten up Francis. Remember, any press is good press.
It's a cool site. I have gotten so much sheet about stuff I post here that I wonder how the Amish got a PC. Peeps have different subjective opinions of stuff. I'm not defending B_110, he's a big boy and can take care of himself...plus he's ok by me (not that anyone cares).
I will say his "filthy" comment is what got me to your site and after what I saw there, I am gonna sign up after this post.

Buckaholic, I am here to say thank you. I wasn't looking for press, maybe some new buds here and some different ideas to what I amy do to the knife once it made it to glorious Idaho.... but thanks for the kind words about my site. In a roundabout way, ok Buck110 seemed off, but sure he can get the referral credit.

:) I am not Francis, I am Ron!
