Ha! Well, one is none and two is one. When you want to thin the herd, drop me a note...
Oh yeah...Take advantage of my insecurities and leave me 911'less -1.

This thread got me excited and impatient. Decided against waiting for the Ratweiler and went with the 1111. Should be pretty sweet next to my 711! :thumbdn:....The 711 could probably outperform the 3/16" thick Ratweiler anyway
FYI the 711 is going to be disco'd pretty soon, so if you want one, you better act fast
Any idea how soon? I am just starting my Busse/kin adventure, picking up a 511 off the Exchange a few days ago (still waiting on its arrival as I'm on the other side of the planet). The 711 looks a likely target down the road but if it's going to be easier to pick one up now I might just have to take the plunge while the water's right.

My bad I just visited the Yard and seen it.
Sorry I'm still not seeing where the announcement is.
That´s a great decision!Ahhh thanks for that. Just ordered a 711.
Howdy folks
I'm not in these parts often, and I don't have a good knowledge base of all the busse-kin blades. So I'm hoping you guys can help.
I recently beat the hell out of some blades, a Sykco 511 among them. It took the abuse very well. I reprofiled the edge and there was only a very small nick after the abuse.
I love my bk9. It, likewise, held up excellently. I'm now considering a busse-kin chopper. I don't really even like my 511, as odd as it sounds. The handle is too damn small and the weight is too forward for a belt knife. But it's so resilient, and this quality has overwhelmed the perceived drawbacks.
So! Is there a moderately priced busse-kin with possibly a bigger handle, that can out chop my bk9? I'm looking, at least for now, at the 1111. Seems like a good price /performance ratio for the neophyte.
Thanks for any help.
