help finding a stockman

Rosconey, I've sent you a PM regarding your participation in this forum. It's not the first time. I suggest you read it and take it to heart.

If you wish to respond, send me a pm or email but do not reply here.

I posted here to let others know that disruptive behavior is not going to be put up with after fair warning.

Sunny I got it brother, It went directly to my bulk folder...I just sent a return email. Thanks again

Recently got a CASE medium Stockman in Amber Bone:thumbup:

Really like the colour, and the fit and finish seems faultless: no blade play,or gaps or blade rub (which can be with knives with more than 2 blades)
Good size knife, not too bulky and it has USER written all over it.

Gritty environments (certain gardening or planting jobs) and most knives don't mix that well.My solution is to keep a Chinese Rough Rider as a beater for really foul tasks. The other thing is that having stainless blades makes flushing out with water less traumatic. Oil does attract grit and other stuff and some people don't oil the joints on stainless knives for this reason. I'm experimenting with graphite, just rubbing the joints with a pencil tip.So far, the results seem promising, but I'm not sure if it adheres to the joints for long.

That was a very generous gesture on your part sunnyd. Thanks very much for providing holiday season inspiration. Much appreciated. Best wishes.

some of us think outside the box once in a while
Oh, man... I had one of those, and it went the way of the Buffalo. I was in a car accident in a company vehicle (totalled and towed, and I went for an ambulance ride to the hospital for plastic surgery), back in April, and my little CS BFC ring-opener vanished from the cup-holder. I hope whomever took it enjoys it...

Sunny-d Got the email... I'll send that out to you today...Thanks again for your tremendous genorisity...JR

Not only does he get a good version of the knife he was looking for, he gets it as a gift with a nice story to go with it; that automatically makes the knife something to treasure beyond its value as a tool. Excellent!

How about this one from RAT? D2 blades and Ram's Horn scales. This on is my absolute favorit slip.
