Help get Yangdu and the Kami community discovered

I guess I touched a nerve with everyone. My intent is good. All I'm after is basically the right interview......possibly with Ms Yangdu....that could bring more exposure to HI community, in Reno. The rest can follow.
Then again, maybe she's already had reviews, reviews, reviews!

George, you did not touch one of my nerves at all. Had you did something so nefarious, your tummy would be upset, a crik would develop in your neck, your back would be out, unable to bend your knees, and arthritis would seemingly attack your 10 digits with monotonous regularity. Just ask Bawanna. Oh, I forgot. Your hound dog would be howlin', the wife grumpy, and the neighbor's cat using your flower beds as litter boxes. Again, ask Bawanna. I gave you as straight up an answer as I could while trying to sound intelligent enough to get my thoughts across. I feel that your thoughts and intentions are straight up, too, but I'm only trying to say that it's hazardous to do something without the primary person's feelings on the matter. My final words on the subject are that she will do as she sees fit, so please approach her with your idea. I'm not going to hinder you at all.

Bookie, I'm not meaning you, just in general. Anyway that's some list of issues that would unglue a persons life. :)
Poor Bawanna! Lol
You gentlemen have a blessed day.
George

I think I'll stick with shopping on here. My wife is for sure, my soundness of mind. She's been telling me to back off...must be the male pride. Oh well

Poor bawanna is right. No idea why I'm the focus of the Docs doll obsession. Like to see him spread it around some. I could use a break.
He seemed to be on Ndog's case for awhile but lately it's all on me again. The attack on the 10 digits is really annoying and makes my hobby very difficult. Can't hardly hang onto a file lately.

I'm gonna sit here and be quiet...no need to give Bookie any reason to get my doll out from wherever he keeps it.

My 2c is that i was drawn to HI as was george by the master class of blades and the work performed by the kami's. I for one believe that their tradition and Yangdus and Bills Attention to detail is what sets them apart.

My suggestion is if you have social media spread the word in your network, share yandu's links to HI as all the info you could want is there. Send her site to friends. George has the enthusiasm and i first encountered it with aome of his comments on videos I shared on youtube. Both good and bad. What needs to be remembered is there is a shared passion steeped in tradition and the nice thing is we can customize or not our unique knives.

I am no professional you tuber, or social media activist, i share for the chance that someone may see a khool khuk.

Spread the word in your networks and positives will happen.

I appreciate all the deals and the tradition.

I also want continued success for HI and Yangdu.

Red Eagle! Hey man make some more videos as I've watched yours a thousand times! I do love your videos and I've thought about making one myself to the point of seeing how far I can go before the knife fails......or something. I guess a destruction video? But they are so pretty!
Good seeing you on here and as you know, I'm new on the forum and HI!
Have a blessed day!
George

My people and especially my wife don't think youtube, facebook or most social media is ready for bawanna.
They say I tend to speak my mind with no concern for collateral damage and have few social graces.

I say horse puckey, I just call em the way I see em and some folks apparently are just over sensitive or something.
My wife does show me stuff on facebook that Yangdu and other people post. I'm just not allowed to type nothing.

I agree, just getting the word out is a fine plan.

Me too. HI is the best. Have you weighed your M43? Is it the thin one or thicker spine? I have both and love both.
I'll be waiting for your new video. Can't wait to see the M43 in action. It's becoming my favorite!

We're going to need to see some comparison shots George! Loving this thread, all good stuff. It's amazing the delicate situations our poor kami are in sometimes. Someone alluded to the roving bands of communists who give business-people a hard time as well! *shudder*

Bookie, how hard is it to make a KY long rifle? Dang I love those lines.

I talked to Yangdu today and she gave me the go ahead with exposure. I may try to write an article to submit to Blade magazine and Knife World if it's still in publication.
I just gonna have to spend time reading the web page and see what I can come up with!
This, a suggestion from a Bladesmith I've known for over 40 yrs, Jim Crowell.
We'll see where it goes.
