Help!! Gun fans

I'll leave this to a Ballistics Lawyer, but I don't think the barrel cylinder gap is correctly referred to as part of the chamber. So here I am like a dope trying to figure out what Zaum and Linton are talking about, and now it appears Linton was pulling Zaum's leg and I walked right in.

Geeeze. All I ever wanted to do was talk about guns.

Those damn dilithium crystals were always threatening to blow.
I didn't care for the next generation series, but noticed the crystals were more stable anyway.

Thought not a mechanical engineer, I don't think the barrel cylinder gap on a revolver is properly referred to as part of the chamber- I could be wrong. It is an mechanical, physical part of the design and an event occurs there after the activity in chamber. But it does influence the combustion in the chamber; so maybe I am wrong.

I'm having an out of body experience. I post a note- go back and look- no record of it, the index at the right shows no activity on thread. Message comes on screen they're having problems and email is sent. I return, write a new post, and then see the first one below. Abort the second, but it's been taken. Still no activity on index at right and no sign of any new post. I try to delete first post- program won't let me- so I leave a single dot- go back to re examine results and see both posts in entirety and still no evidence of activity in index at right.

Never mess with Star Trek.

Ah ha! There is precident in several ST episodes for out-of-body experiences.

(And Bex, calmly now or we'll send Spock to speak to you. Too much emotion can be bad. :D )

munk?

the time continuum paradox IS perplexing. But, if you account for the parallel universes, just out of phase with our own, you will note that the forum is having posting problems RIGHT after what's his name left for the SHOT show.

Thus it is proven, it is not related to a time paradox, but the Rosanne Rosannadanna Theorum: "It's always something." :)

Yes, Sparks left, and I also wondered if the Late Great Uncle Frank was having some fun at our expense.
