Help...I need somebody...help... 8-)

I was just looking at Bob Cooper's website and they have the kit listed for 99.50 and that is not including the original knife...for obvious reasons...includes shipping within Oz.

But...DAMN, a C-Note is a lot of cash for what is essentially a Penrith-kit.

I thought it was a bit pricey when I looked at it. There are better kits and better components at better prices. Not knocking his product, mind you. It is fairly comprehensive. But I think it could be done less expensively by most of us.

Some things deserve to be knocked. You could purchase three Penrith Tins that are functionally identical and a lot of the parts are Penrith or BCB as it is, you know?

The inclusion of a very small fixed blade made Cooper's kits unique and rather attractive to people who know what they are doing but basically the current kit as advertised, he could be doing something or adding something he is not talking about...is basically a Penrith Tin that costs three times as much...

So, who would be interested in a stainless steel version of the "Sicut Leilira" since they are now illegal in Australia?
