.... wow.... then I feel so special you cut me deal and only charged me 1/2 a meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellion for my last one.......... :D :D :D :D ;)

Yep, TGLB in a digicam Buy Brown sheath ( I have the same pattern sheath from Dave for my 1311). The TGLB is still available new from Bussee so value if pretty easy to figure form there.

I visited many porn shops on my last trip to the US to see if I could score any of the great bargins I often read of online (Leupold Scopes at the time was my interest) but nope.... I figured at some point I was going to have to check the pawn shops as well.........

I didn't realize they sold scopes in porn shops.

HaHaHaHaHaHa:D

whats a porn shop ?????

Blade ?

:)

A strange phenomenon from my various trips to the US .... when I say "pawn" apparently it sounds just like "porn" to y'all in the US... makes for some strange looks at times... ;)

Pics are tough to see the bevel in.

I'm going with a regular TG not the Light Brigade model. The bevel looks to be convex and not hollow.

............Of course, I could be drunk!

Jerry

He could also weigh the knife. What are the weights of the two versions?

Andy... I'm going with what Jerry said for the reason of the bevel line I think it's a regular TG and not a TGLB.

Also it's kind of hard to tell from the angle of the pics that you posted but the fuller looks like what is on the TG as opposed to the TGLB. The fuller on the TG is narrower in width than what is on the TGLB. It's easy to see the difference if you have one of each laying side by side.

A close up profile pic of the first 4 or 5 inches of the knife would make identifying which version it is very easy.

The pix from one to another lean towards each version, even manipulating the images in a post processing software program. Larger pix would definitely help. Also, and these are just with mine... the balance point on the TG is almost right on the top edge of the micarta at the ricasso, whereas the TGLB is at the plunge line. Maybe Andy could check his to see where it balances. :)

Seriously! The only Busse-kin I've ever seen in person, or out in the wild, other than what I own, was 2 Rodent solutions, a Scrapyard Regulator, and a CS Muddy Mojo. All were at a gunshow in Charlotte NC earlier this year! 2 tables not 40ft from each other. And the prices were CRAZY!

I paid right about what the site seems to be charging for it. $350 with the sheath. I did not doctor any pics at all. Someone said they needed pics of the first 5" of the knife. Is that the point end, or the butt. I did find a small scratch in the butt of the knife.

As to whether or not it was a good investment, time will tell. But to pass up a fairly large Busse in almost new condition at $350, that seemed wrong on a lot of levels. If the sheath is worth a million dollars, then it is definitely for sale. Do I have to include the knife, or can I keep that? LOL.

Um, the knife isn't for sale at this time. And certainly not for $200, which is what I was offered. I guess I come off like a dumbass or something. I gotta work on that.

Whoa. Jerry even posted. This one seems to be very very slightly hollow. I don't see anything convex about the bevel. I had thought it was flat till I held up a business card.

Thanks for posting Jerry.:)

Whoever low balled you like that sucks at life.

You got a great deal really. Less then what it would cost direct with a sheath
From Dave. If it is indeed the original then thats super female doggin. Cheers
