Just checked and I still have the link in my history, so I can link you to it.

Sorry, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it was posted on ebay (I think by a pawn shop, but not totally sure) and it sold on June 30th. I specifically remember because of the color combo and it was damaged/bent, and it has a leather over kydex sheath with it.

dude, i remember that one. I was gonna post it but lost the link and couldn't remember if it had the liners and it was bent like hell.
 
Man this kind of shit pisses me off... losing a treasured blade so someone can get $50 at a pon shop for meth...sorry that happened man

So sorry to hear about that man. I think I bid on that one, that's why I posted a little while back about the shop fixing a bent blade.

My condolences. A loss like that hurts. You are correct in a previous statement. I would bet it was sold for a bit of meth. Every time I see some cracked up piece of crap standing on the side of the road with their sign saying "Please help. blah blah blah, GOD BLESS" I look at them with such distaste. I have taught my kids what to look for in the meth heads. What symptoms they show and the way they act. I would never, never give a meth head a dime. Let them rot in my opinion. They would use the money to buy drugs over food anyway. Screw them. It ashamed to loss anything to acts of thievery. It is sad to know you loved blade has been through such trials. Bent horribly too, I imagine it was used for some other crime too. Sad, just sad. Hate to hear stuff like this.
 
Curious as to how it was Stolen? I am going to assume vehicle. Anyways, it is probably worth bringing to police attention. If not to help you, it could help others. I say this cause it was a small tip, that led to the cops catching some local thief's going in unlocked cars. When caught & busted, they found property stolen from homes, camps, cars and storage facilities. Apparently it was a much larger crime ring.
 
Good thinking ladams19! Show your kids the end results of using drugs, not just there 👎... Drugs lead to living on the streets, jail, death and a life of having no real friends.

I have contacted the seller and am awaiting a response about getting a hold of the buyer.
 
I just looked at the pics on the eBay listings. I am steaming mad! They bent the freaking blade!!!! Not only steal it, but damage it before they sell it for whatever drugs they're on! Aaahhhh!!!

What a lousy thing to have to go through... at least the blade is in just the right shape to take off the thief's hands... oh, wait, we don't do that here, hence the prevalence of so many thieves. :mad:

I feel bad for jfever. It sucks to robbed. However the new owner is not at fault in any way. (Heck, I almost bought it) If Busse will fix it for him or her that's great. And quite unbelievable . Will your car insurance cover you for any stolen stuff in car? Possibly if the new buyer hears of this he'll work something out with you. Good luck
