Help me choose Millie or GB?

Or are you simply talking about the thickness of the steel (side to side) at the tip? If so then yeah, it thins out nicely in that regard.

Yes that's what I meant. I like a pointy tip too but I can overlook that with the Bradley because I like many other aspects of the design. When I think about a robust tip I think of one that would hold up to light prying like stabbing into wood and levering to the side without tip damage.

From your original post it sounds like you don't really want either the Bradley or the Mili. They are both great knives. To the guy saying the Bradley doesn't slice well, I'm at a loss. It slices extremely well. It's thinner than the Mili behind the edge for most (if not all) of the blade height. It slices through heavy cardboard tubing better than any of my Spydies. I slice up apples with my knives and the Bradley is one of the best at that too. Also the Bradley tip isn't thick. It is wider than the Mili so yeah probably a little stronger but it's not a robust tip.

I want both. Normally I get a new knife every three weeks. Unfortunately I'm going out on a disability pension and may go a couple months without a paycheck with all the Agencies attempts to get out of their obligations. Due to this it may be a few months before another knife is in the cards. I want to make sure this knife doesn't end up a safe queen.

I'm sure the GB is a great knife. I only recently have aquired the Military however, but it immediately became my favourite, over a PM2 & Manix LW.

It's decided. A Military it is. What I'm debating now is a Cruwear, S30V with Digicam, or titanium handle. I'm really digging the titanium handle. It adds some class and elegance that would give the sheeple pause before they called the Police.
Any experiences with G10 vs Titanium?? This thing will be an EDC, kitchen knife, out in the woods... Where ever

The Ti is heavier, quite a bit imo. You can try to score a fluted Ti if that matters to you. Personally, I love my CRUWEAR version, and am not a big fan of S30V.

I will just leave this here:D

Get the G10 IMHO...

Part of the appeal of the Military is that it is so light and carries so easily for such a big knife. The Ti is quite a bit heavier, too heavy for me for EDC. My GB and Ti/G10 M4 Military is right at the weight-limit of what I like to EDC.

Many will disagree because of weight, but I love the regular ti model! I tend to carry iwb a lot and the weight doesn't bother me for edc carry and I like the smoother feel of the scales. For me, the ti model just has a lot more "fondle value". I really love the thing!

Yes, IWB carry might invalidate the weight argument...

I rarely carry IWB because I do not like the feel of coarse CF or G10 or FRN on my skin, but I think you just gave me the excuse to try the Ti Millie myself! :)

(Or the SS Harpy)

I used to have several Militaries, but the only ones I have left are two Ti Militaries with CPM-M4 and M390. I carry my knives in my right back pocket and I didn't like the G10 or CF models because of the flex.

if you cook often, there's no contest. get the ti version. gunk on ti is much easier to clean off, and there's no space between a liner lock bar and the g-10 where dirt and food particles can lodge (could prevent closing.) and no lanyards. they're messy to wash.
