Help me choose my winning logo design! 2nd poll

I think he probably heard you the first time.

I think simply using the last name is best, like Gregory, Doyle, Royer, etc. All the customs I own are like that.
I don't mark mine as I've yet to make a knife worth putting my name on.
Richard, I think you're being a little hard on yourself. (No pun intended.)
Maybe that's why your knives are so aesthetically pleasing...because of your commitment.

The NY special you posted in November is looking really good, too me a few others at least.

Since I don't sell them, my case isn't really relevant to this thread. I'd hate to have to try to turn a profit, but if I did I'd go with my last name as a mark.

Interestingly for the one custom knife i own. I have a whole laminated sheet proving the custom knife is custom and how he customed it.

And admittedly the mark on the knife isn't great.
Here we go. So if the name is an authentication issue for resale or whatever.

You’re currently selling the device that most of us have used (and continue to use) for decades. I’m not really clear on why you’re convinced you need to have a laser, but I’m nearly 20 years into this rodeo and I feel absolutely zero need to own a laser, especially for this application.

Perhaps the costs have risen, but I believe I spent roughly $50 to have TUS Tech set up a silk screen for me with my mark, and another $20 for each sheet of stencils I bought. My sheet has 5 of my marks on it, and each mark lasts for LOTS of knives.

Again, you have to do you, but really it sounds like you’re making this a whole lot harder than it needs to me.
I see what your saying, I want to get a laser for other business also so I figured id just use it on knives also. knife making is definitely not the only reason I'm going to get a laser

I haven’t even begun to be condescending. 🤣

If it’s being taken that way, perhaps it’s being read into things.

Really, what your comment is reminding me of is that I pretty much stopped sharing here. Skins are much, much thinner than they were when I was coming up. At your hint, I’ll stop.
I don't mind your advice at all. for the moment I'm going to use my new logo and etch that on my blades since I don't have a laser anyway. I will definitely consider putting my name on it as well- its just that my name is kind of long 'Linus Lindblom'

I've just moved posts offline from two folks I consider friends. Please don't make me move more...and please don't let me lose friends over it.

Thanks.

My apologies, E.

Respectfully, I think your knives are very good, and highly effective.

I agree with Blues Blues , you are being a bit too hard on your work. It's excellent.
