Help me enter the RAT world.

Camper870 ...I purchased both the RC 4 and RC 3. I am a hard user on my knives so i turned to ESEE only two months ago and I will never choose another manufacturer.

I use my knives in the bush every week as a Search and Rescue Operator and survival instructor.

I purchased the RC 4 first and immediately gave it the best beating I could. Making feather sticks, batoning firewood (thick deadfall) and constructing a shelter. The knife never skipped a beat and I was so impressed by the batoning capability for what seemed like a small task knife.

I immediately ordered the RC 3 orange handle for my SAR vest. I received it the other day and gave it the welcoming I gave the RC 4. It to performed admirably.

There is obviously no bad choice when it comes to ESEE RAT knives. I wish I had found them earlier. But do not feel you need a large knife for big tasks.
