Help me find a blade

Just posted this for someone else, but this knife is so great.

ZT 0609. Carries beautifully, 3.4 inch 20cv blade. It feels like a small knife in the pocket and a big knife when cutting.

It's a great slicer, beautiful bronze titanium handles. Excellent action.

I cant say enough positive things about it. Such a wonderful combination of performance, comfort, and beauty.

I have owned griptillians, pm2s, and looked at delicas and 940s. The 0609 is just a sweet edc. Food prep, cardboard, whatever, it's a cutting machine.

It' a bit pricey, $220, but for what you get, it's totally worth it.

Aren’t all ZT’s framelock?

This is also a very good idea^^^^

That's what ultimately made me get rid of it. And I absolutely fell in love with the manix. If you don't like the lightweight, there's many g10 versions, including an exclusive in 52100 that has skeletonized liners. That's my current favorite

The g10 versions of the grip are not noticeably thinner than the regular plastic ones. I was on a similar type of hunt a while ago. I ended up with the rift for a while. That would be one worth checking out, although the g10 is a little aggressively textured.

Well I have the original grip now and he scales are round. Aren’t the g10 scales more flat?

You might like the Mini Crooked River, Axis Lock and only 0.52" wide with a classic clip point blade. It does have a partial back spacer, however.

There's a knife out there being made for release soon called the Schwarz Perpetua. It's an axis style lock with a drop point blade, flow through construction, G10 scales with full liners and only 0.5" thick. Might be what you're looking for.

Looked into that model as well. Wish they had black handles. I don’t like wood.

Negative on the g10 being thinner. If it is, certainly not enough to notice. The g10 is contoured. Forgot about the perpetua mentioned above. That may be exactly what you're looking for

Best thing I can think of is to take a look at the Perpetua then. It's going to come in gray G10 only at first though.

Sounds like you need to take a look at what Keyman did to his Crooked River.

The Perpetua looks interesting, too.

If you want to spend the money, Benchmade does a custom shop crooked river, may be doing the mini soon.
The only issue I see with the perpetua would be getting your hands on one. I don't believe they ship until June, and I don't know if they are planning more runs or not
