Help me find a new folder!

Another Kershaw you might want to look at is the Lahar. It doesn't get a lot of press, but it has excellent steel, VG10, with thick hardened steel liners covered with nice grippy G10. Not a Speed Safe, but still a very quick opener with a flipper and thumbstuds both.

Pick two :D

An S30V Blur or a 1725CB JYDII, as seen earlier, are great choices. Below is my >2yr old Spydie Native and 4+ month old EDC Buck 347 Vantage Pro in S30V, also seen earlier. It is still new - but, with an MSRP of $75, what a deal!

Here is that Vantage Pro with a Benchmade BM635BK - barely in your range used from the secondary market and in Ti/S30V - super knife:

Lots of choices... but the Spydie Native, with >2r pocket time, is a hard act to follow. My all time favorite, of course, is a Buck 110! Many years of pocket time.

The ZT looks like a nice blade... are they made by Kershaw? It looks a lot like the Blur.

Are there any store fronts that carry those?

yes Zero Tolerance line is made by kershaw which is Kai. they have amazing warranty . the 0350 is like the blur s30v but has full g10, A MUCH STRONGER lock and DLC coating on the blade.

HMMMMMM I like the fact that you mentioned a stronger lock... the biggest complaint most people have about the Blur is the lock failing. Are all of the blades S30V?

I want to hold this one in a store...

I've beat on a SG2 Blur for a little over a year now and no problems with the lock.

You can find them in 14C28N or S30V, and if you ask real nice, you might find a NIB one in SG2.

Since you mention deep pocket carry, the Buck Vantage Pro comes to mind. 3 1/4" S30V with a BOS heat treat, CNC milled G10 handle, and a flipper (no thumbstud or opening hole, just a flipper). Here's the clip:

In the pocket, you shouldn't see any of the knife, just the clip.

Brutus013, that Buck Vantage Pro looks great! A folder in S30V for around 40 Bucks, you can't beat that! I'm looking at one right now and about to click "Buy."

Thanks for the recommendation!

Quite right!

Right now I am thinking an S30V Blur and a Griptillian...

Hmmmm... I'd have to hold the Benchmades before I bought them. I still really don't like the looks of the spyderco. It's just personal preference.

Know what you mean - everytime I open one of mine up I'm reminded of a baby crocodile - only exception being my Endura-Wave. Nonetheless they are great knives - but I like my BM710 more than any of my spydies.
