Ok here's the specs I'm after,.. Having a hard time finding this.

-traditional barlow look

-dark hardwood, dark bone, dark micarta handle

-large bolster

-single spear point blade of a length not to exceed 3"

-< $100

-made in USA

Does it exist?

Best just take a look in the long running and immense thread What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow.

You'll see something there....

Take a look a Rough Rider barlows. They make several with bone handles. I especially like the bark bone one.

Made in the USA nixes Rough Rider...

GEC just did a run of spear point medium barlows that were under $100 retail. Keep an eye out on the resale market for an ebony one, but it's likely to go over $100 now.

Are you looking for a single blade pattern as opposed to the traditional two blade?

These are sold out at KSF, so you'll have to find one on the secondary market or wait for another run, if there is one.

How about an A.G. Russell Medium Lockback Barlow?[/URL]

Those are imported.

I don't know the price, but I see a neat-looking single-blade "Mini Barlow" in the 2016 Queen catalog. Also a single-blade Fishermans Barlow. It even looks as if their standard Barlow is single-blade.
Hope this link is allowed, it's the manufacturer's product catalog.

Queen #69 barlow, i.e. the Schatt & Morgan Keystone Exclusive in Blue Bone that's out there right now in CPM154 for just a hair under $100.

True, but it an incredibly well made knife built to an American knife maker's specs for the American market.

I agree 100% and would be happy to own one myself. In fact I have many of AG's imports - Japan, Germany, China, etc. - just not the Barlow.

If only you didn't need the long bolster. Then the GEC 15s might yield up a candidate.
Gotta say I'm hovering above AG Russells website quite often for the above mentioned reasons.

Canal street cutlery "Eric's Jack" Stag though.....an incredible knife, you'll have to find one on the secondary market now that Canal Street Cutlery has closed the factory

Canal Street Cutlery Barlow.

Unsure what handle material they offer that meets your criteria though. Also might be tough to find since Canal Street Cutlery is closing and the knives are being bought up.

Yeah, I've been thinking about getting one of his War Eagle Barlows. I've had my hands on one and its well made. Mr Russell don't skimp on quality. And the prices are good.

I believe there are still some of the brown saw-cut bone ones still available with a spear blade if that tickles your fancy.
