Joy Division, or there offshoot, New order.
 
Yep! I am pretty much one of the biggest Misfits fans out there. Been into them since I was a little kid. Samhain was a good band too.

Feels good that I can use a Misfits based username on a forum. I've tried "Crimson Ghost", and everything with the number 138 everywhere else almost...and theyre all taken. lol.
 
I'm headed into my late 30's and for quite a while music seemed to be just so much unlistenable garbage until three bands made listening FUN again --- System Of A Down, Queens Of The Stoneage, and The White Stripes.

Some of my favorite bands are Cold, Sevendust, and Tool. Can't get into SotD. I'd rather listen to fingernails on the chalkboard before listening to them. QotSA aren't bad. The "Nuge" rocks!
