And as a few memebers mentioned ... if you look in the makers forums and check out their yellow posts at the top of their firums ... it should show alot of their work or have websites with their knife designs ...

and you could get exactly what materials you want to ... just might be a wait time on a custom but in your price range you could get a very nice knife that way.

And if you find a production knife that you like the design and it's in 3V there are alot of great craftsmen on here that could make you custom scales and or a custom kydex taco sheath ...

just more options ... you might look into

Not true. Only members with knife maker memberships can see threads other than their own in the "Knife Maker Services Wanted Forum". You can only see your own posts because you do not have a Knife Maker Membership.

In similar fashion, only those with a membership that allows them to sell can see threads other than their own in the "Wanted to Buy" section.

These Woodsmans have a 4.25" cutting edge and are in 3V. They have a convexed secondary bevel that I could regrind to a full convex if you wish. Prices are close to what you are asking for. The finish on the steel is one that allows for field maintenance and a little touch up with steel wool or a scotchbrite pad as needed. When you go to a tumbled or higher grit finish it becomes harder to maintain the finish of a knife that is used. Shoot me an email or PM if your interested.

My kydex is set up to be ran vertical, horizontal, canted, or inverted on the right or left side of the knife or body. I can do a taco style if you prefer, though I typically do a pancake design as it adds very little bulk but doubles the options for hardware placement which adds a lot of versatility for practically no weight/bulk increase.
