Help Me Name a Knife! ***Winner**

Alright, here's a few to ponder:

In keeping with the arrow shield and ruggedness of the knife, Broadhead Jack (similar to Bearhead which the knife is, and it's an arrow type) Bowyer Jack- Bow-maker) Nantucket Jack- goes well with Northwoods, alliteration, and its associations with whaling industry, the harpoon as a giant arrowhead!

Furlong Jack as it's an old school defunct measure, and sounds like for long anyway.

Sabre Jack wouldn't be bad either due to the blade itself.

Regards, Will

When I saw that knife, the first thought I had was "Skogsmann".
That is simply put woodsman in English.
My dad, who passed away two days ago, always carried a folder with moose-horn scales when we used to trek woods and mountains when I grew up:)

I like this name with any of the following variations:

"swellbelly jack"

or written like this:
"swell belly jack"

If we were to look at using maybe some from the border language I also like

"muchacho jack"
or simply
"el muchacho"
there could also be
"el muchacho jack"

For those who don't know "muchacho" is a very common spanish term for "young man". That one comes to mind because of the size and blade type it would be a great knife for a young man to keep for the rest of his life. I find a mix of spanish gives it a western/southern USA feel to it too.. almost adventurous. Think "el zorro" kind of thing haha.

cheers!

....few more:

Trailhead Jack
Brokeback Jack
Spartan Jack
Officer's Jack

Great idea for a GAW Derrick & thanks for the chance.

Since my first choice,Wolf Jack, has been taken so I'll go with
Lobo Jack,
Cascade Jack,
or Dog Bone if they haven't been taken yet.

Edit to add: Bone Jack

One more.
The Pac Jack.
