Help Me Out here...

hi LFH! i am originally from texas myself, down in copperas cove. trust me, u aint the only one having trouble with display cases!!!! i found a nice revolving one this weekend, but i had one of those sour old women too! naw, actually she was nice, but i called today and found out that it was her late husbands case, after i had posted a topic here about it. who knows, maybe that lady u have down there is attached to that case too. check out the flea market in belto, there is a guy down there who sells them i think. he had several case, schrade, and gerbe cases i know. maybe u can luck up there. give my best to the lonestar state!!!

I have a question similar to wsatte3277's. My mother has a floor-standing display case from Schrade, probably from the 1970s. Most of the display slots are for OT and UH models. I'd guess it's size at 40" tall x 30" wide x 16" deep. It's constructed of brown cardboard/fiberboard with a sloped glass front door and shelves of storage space behind.

The thing is if I want it, I have to buy mom a replacement cabinet of some sort and drive my pickup to Chicago to get it.

I haven't seen one like this on eBay and have no idea what the value would be. As far as I'm concerned, it's worth going to pick up just because of my interest in OldTimer knives.
