Help me pick out a sheeple-friendly folder

what did i win? :p But seriously Dekz, I hope u like it :)

After seeing the Finch I checked out more of the Byrd line and found lots of stuff I liked.

So I ordered a Meadowlark as well, practically free with the combined shipping right? :D

I love rationalizing.

I love the Dragonfly but for the past few days I've been carrying the Spin and I love it. It's very small and fun to use. It's also cute, whereas the Dragonfly looks more like a traditional knife (ie scarier) and the Cricket is a fantastic knife but the hooked blade does not look terribly friendly, although some of the female persuasion have told me that it looks "cute." The Boker Subcom is fairly innocuous looking but the wider blade may draw more attention, IMO.

Count me as not a fan of the keychain-sized knives (Ladybug, Jester, Finch). They are well-made but they certainly don't inspire the confidence that the slightly larger ones do.

Too late, but for anyone else another vote for the Benchmade Benchmite. I am amazed at the solid quality of this little knife and the pleasure of opening and closing it continues to grow on me. Does take two hands, which makes it almost retro.

Even smaller is AG Russell's Ultimate Pen knife. As he says, "This is the most PC knife you can imagine. It is so small, it will not offend anyone."

Spyderco Poliwog is my choice for a EDC, not intimidating at all, people always comment on the "neat, cool" shape of the the knife when it is opened or closed, Great Knife!

Spyderco Co-pilot or dragonfly, Sog Access card. or any of the smaller Leathermans (sorry if you consider this a SAK type of knife...but how can you be scared of something with scissors or could be used for personal grooming.)
Whatever you do just try to stay away from serrations people seem to find them scary.
Cheers
