Please Help Me pick a Bushcraft Knife,
I know this is a pretty general category, but I have allot of knives that many would put in this category (Sub 4" Fixed Blades), I own a Rat 3, Falkniven F1, Busse SCABS, Jeff White Custom English Patch, and Many Moras. But I am looking for something that is more traditional, with a Scandi grind, Full Tang, simple steel to sharpen in the field, comfortable handholds in many positions, and something that comes with a sheath.
I am open to Customs and Production, but I don't want to wait too long to get this, the weather is getting better, my Buget is $200, I have been looking at the new Spyderco Bushcraft in G-10 and have found it for $160, looks pretty good, but any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Just to explain how I use my knife, it will be used for carving, woodwork, battoning, not much food prep, maybe gutting the occasional fish. I usually carry an ax or a saw for the real heavy work, I like to save weight, and be compact.
Thanks in advance for your help
