Help needed with UPS

UPS recently laid off 14,000 workers. There are consequences to that level of slaughter. Poorly planned tariff actions didn’t help the situation, of course.

I’m very glad to see the good people taking care of each other!

I spoke with Robin and will get a platen sent out right away on Monday. So there won’t be any customs issues again.

Well as long as the government doesn’t decide they need tariffs between Nebraska and New Mexico. Wouldn’t really surprise me at this point. 😂
 
This story has a happy ending. Evidently RD knives made arrangements with Darren from Contender works to send me a carbide platen. That got to me last week. I used the carbide platen to taper some tangs and was impressed with it. It seemed that the abrasive belt cut faster and smoother with the carbide platen.
So, thanks to both RD knives and Darren.
