The Mini A-100 is a fantastic knife; SAK size but EKI capable. I think that should be printed on the box.

Not to like? For me, the grip.
Thanks guys, I barley use my EDC folders. A Swiss Army knife does the job if I choose. I do wonder out into the woods, with my dogs a lot . I own fixed blades but I never carry them when walking my dogs. Walks at night by myself are normal. So self defense tool is the main reason.
Emerson's reputation as building a outstanding knife for multiple purpose is attractive to me.
My main concern is ease of carry. That's why I was looking at the minis.
Sharpening is no problem. I own a wicked edge, sharp maker, shapton waterstones, strops.
I really like my 8, and I like at least a 3.6" blade. I got a Horseman first, and was underwhelmed by the small size.
In a 7, I'd get a Super 7 if anything. It has an acceptable blade length.
The Vindicator looks like a nice knife also. It has a nice secure handle shape, a recurve like a Commander and the tip is almost like a Tanto but boasts an even, smooth transition that will be easy to sharpen.
The Vindicator will be my next knife. I'm certain of that.
Hmmmm. I'm stuck between the 7. And the 15.
Go for the 15. You still get the tanto tip but add some slice and dice recurve action.
I'm going to order the 15 stonewashed blade, plain edge.
StuntDouble, I wish you had PM access, I could definitely offer some assistance in that quandary, but not in open forum.
OM, I think you can email me from my profile. It's not as quick as PM's, but it should work.
