Help what would you do.

Ed,

If it turns out to be a fake, send the guy his money back, then send me the knife...I'll give ya the $65 just so I can make a righteous spear tip out of it...lol And yes, I'm serious.

(I've wiped logo's off Ek's and BJK's with Flitz faster than a person could say, "OMFG!"...lol)

As far as the 6 months goes, no freaking way....a week, maybe. If he was away on holiday, then two weeks, maybe... "Caveat Emptor, and do your homework before you buy...."

Lots of "unmarked" Ek blanks are out there.

Gun Parts Corp sold a pile of them in around 1990-91 for 8 bucks a pop. Some were also sold after Blackjack went under, AFAIK.

Blackjack sold some unmarked Ek knives, usually Warrior series with straight metal guard and blast finish.

There was also a Blackened "powder coated" blade that was sterile.

The only people that stole blades out of the Blackjack/Ek factory were the people running the place!!!! The workers could have cared less, all they wanted was a paycheck that didnt bounce!.
