Alright, here's a nice DSLR shot of bolster side B.
So, my knifemaker has bumped up my due date. Original agreed upon ship back was the 20th. Now he wants it by Friday. Deep breath. I did not have a single vote from anyone friends or family who suggested anything other than a mirror image. I was literally this close to doing that, but I just couldn't help myself, I needed to make the shield side bolster special somehow. I used much of the major spines, reworked a few leaves here and there, and well... Yeah. I'm gonna put some gold in this owl's eye. This is my first hand engraving going to exhibition and show. I need it to be rad. Now I gotta just deliver "rad" on a tight, tight schedule. At the point of me writing now, I've completed all outlines and relief around scrolls and leaves. I need to stipple the background, outline and relief the owl, and shade everything in.
