A lot of good advice...... Of all of the great ideas I suspect Keroscene 's is most likely to work...... Wallace is pretty canny though and cheap, too.....LOL.......

Perhaps having a shirt that is smoked by a woodfire near to wear you will shoot, deer being curious will check it out and are not spooked by fire as such?

E - a buddy of mine swears by smoking himself before each hunt.
he has one of those beekeeper smoke-pots, stuffs it with local leaves, weeds, and grasses, then fires it up and thoroughly smudges himself.
seems to cover any scent he had and the smoke smell can draw them in, as Bladite mentioned.

I haven't got anything either. Can only shoot bucks. Had chances to shoot plenty of does. had this one walk up to 20 feet away from me. I saw one buck. It's a long story and too depressing to type it all down. but took two shots,first was an attempt at a head shot cause the bastard was following a doe and just wouldn't come out of the reeds and was 5 minutes to being pitch black dark so said screw it and took a shot at the little bit a skull I could see( mostly horns) and missed. Have lost hope too Ethan and also miserable. I've been out almost everyday too and only saw the 1 BUCK!!!!! Nobody else here is getting any either. Lowest deer harvest since 1982. There is so many wolf tracks it's unbelievable. I'm applying for a wolf tag next year. They are huge too. This ones paw's are the size of my palm and there were bigger. I guy around here shot one that was 175lb. I had a fox come within 10 feet of me while sitting on the ground last week and saw a different one days later. My step dad took a pic of a wolf he saw 50 yards away from where he way sitting. 5 more days left to get one here. Hope you end up getting one Ethan. Not a spiritual soul but am praying for us both to God, Kali, Budda, and Dagon tonight. Goood luck!!!!!!!! Oh BTW would try a different spot. I've been moving around alot cause my first spot didn't see a damn thing. But moved to different spot and that's where I've seen what I've seen. I rub deer scent on me too. The doe I had 20 feet away from me wanted to hump thinking I was a Buck. Started stomping her feet on the ground and turned her ass towards me with tail up, it was hilarious. I know it's cause I reeked of the stuff. Was sitting inside an old snowmobile shelter. This year it's not even that your doing anything wrong it's just the fact THERE IS NO FREAKING BUCKS AROUND and barely any does!!! Anyways luck to everybody. And since got a bunch of pics posting them.

Made beef stroginoff with the 9 ( my favorite kitchen knife ) got to drunk to remember to take a pic of the finished product though.

In the south it is a coyote problem....... Not as big as that, probably not so nice, doggy whose pic you posted....... That is a BIG boy by golly..... The coyotes go mostly for the fawns and have decimated the South Carolina deer herd........... There are deer on Wallace's place, they just avoid me when I am there......... If a fox trotted within ten feet of you, you are doing something right......Mr. Deer will eventually come to visit us and all will be goodness and light once again.....
I really hope your persistence pays off in the time you have left........ I would like to think you will have a bite or two of venison on Thanksgiving........

When you figure out how to lift the jinx let me know. When it's deer season I see elk, when it's elk season I only see deer. Last elk season there were always 3 does somewhere near me for 4 days. I could wave at them and they'd start to wander over. Hah!
