Henningsson Knives

that's some impressive work! Very nicely made and solid design, which is far enough outside the box to be innovative, without venturing into fantasy. With a strong consideration toward functionality, which I appreciate. I also appreciate your demonstration of construction methods; good trigonometry and tight tolerances.

Thank you so much, you know that is exactly what I have tried to accomplish. Freaky enough to stand out but not too much.
The knife has to preform and all of the details are there for a reason.
Thank you for notice.

Thanks for showing the construction!!!....when i see such amazing finished knives i always suspect they came from an alien starship ;) now i can see they started from filemarked and scratched human-produced metal LOL :)

Wow these larger images just make me look at every little detail.

Thanks for starting a thread outside of the Exchange section.

Stunning intro and welcome to the forum. Great deigns and workmanship, your engraving is fantastic! Are the images yours as well? If so they are first class.
Cheers Keith

Have you had any experience with a jeweler or a machine shop? I think you could make a locomotive train from scratch with the right plans.

Keith,
Yes I did the pictures too. I know there are some errors here and there but what the heck.
Thanks

And just when you think you have seen it all! BAM! Some newcomer shows up and blows egos all to hell! Yes,this is a compliment. How long have you been making knives? Did you apprentice under someone?

these ingravings are done by hand or by machine? these are some of the nicest knives I ever seen.

Well what can I say, I am so thankful for your comments, thank you so much!
I saw some questions and here is the answers.
I am a part time maker.
I have been making knives for five years, engraving for about three.
I am all self taught.
I picked up the engraving techniques on YouTube.
I am practicing different styles of engravings. Bulino style is all microscopicall tiny cuts. 80.000 to approx 120.000 cuts per square inch. Take a look at the closeup on the Mayan calendar on the first page. You'll see the cuts.
Then we have line engravings. That is used for scrollworks etc. As in this picture.

The engraving is all done by hand under a microscope

Thank you guys for all your comments and questions.
