I'm willing to bet if you showed that to an expert Japanese sword-maker, he'd say "!*^$ %%$#*...&%#@!) Ha, ha,ha...&%**#@, ooh ooh ohh ah haah! So we'd still be clueless because we don't speak Japanese. My old Thai blacksmith made me a few blades for free as a going-away gift. He said "if it doesn't cut, bring it back".

After whacking on that board for a minute or so, I noticed a bit of blade play. Just a little bit. The pocket clip, oddly enough was also less than tight. I fixed both using a slightly cheaper folding knife (Can't find my screwgie!?). All is well.

You might need to loctite after your torture test . Heat can disable loctite type products IIRC ?
