But best of all was the tool belt I whipped up for my son. It didnt take long and it wasnt my best work but he LOVES it! Now he wont have to run around with his tools stuck in his pants. It has 3 little sheaths and a loop for the hammer. I made it out of some scraps and an old belt.

Those sheaths look great man! I really like that dark brown color on the one to the left. That looks like one happy kid, you did good. I'm sure he will remember that kind of stuff when he gets older. I know I remember the stuff my old man did for me at that age :thumbup:
 
The 2 BK9 sheaths are chestnut but I got a side of the high dollar Wickett and Craig drum dyed stuff. Do you think it looks better or do you like the look of the others like that BK16 sheath to the left?

Personally I like the 16 sheath. I like the lighter colors but the wickett and craig stuff is to exspensive for me. On top of my knives is all cost that I have to add to my end product. Have you done any business with that site I turned you on to? I just ordered two more sides of of them. There good poeple, and about as fair priced as I've seen.

Are there any BH patches left? I sent Ethan a SASE a few months ago when he said he found a batch but hes a busy guy and I hate to bother him.

They are all beautiful sheaths but I too am partial to the color of the 16. I like dark brown or black. I love that belt you made. It reminds me of this past Halloween. My son was going as Obi Wan Kenobi and lost the cheap flimsy jedi belt that goes with it an hour before we had to leave. So I grabbed my box of leather scraps and an old belt and whipped up a belt really quick. He got a few of compliments on how cool the belt was (it wasnt that cool but it worked). I do think it was better than the cheap one that came with it, though.

There is a very large, impressive Becker in the works. It's taking awhile because we need to get the usual paperwork signed and out of the way. Those nightmares are nice. I got to handle one at a gun show and if I had the coin it would have been coming home that day.

Well Dan Wesson does make the VBOB now.......last price I saw on Buds was $1950ish tho. Everything I can find to read about this Sig says its a great gun. I only found one place where a guy was complaining about a gritty trigger. I've always wanted a CBOB, but just haven't ever came by one, so this will fill the need for now.

One day I will find a CBOB, and when I do I will own it. One way or another. I'd be happy with 45acp or even 10mm.
