That's cool, just wanted to clear the air. I believe the ball was left in your court, and I am a man of my word. Its true I have stopped taking orders and I have expressed how much I hate to do that many times. That's why I try to offer SOMETHING every once in a while on my sub forum. That's why I mark them as peace offerings and that's why I offer them to the Beckerheads first. (Cause I like you guys) a knifemaker in my postion that isn't equipped to put a knife in every hand on the earth has to rely on his reputation. Even if that's not how you meant it I can't afford poeple going around with the impression that I wouldn't deal with them because that's the furthest from the truth...............while we are at it. Like I said earlier, I will still honor your order if you like. Now or later it doesn't matter to me. I'm not going to renigg on the deal we made, busy or not. I still got you in the books, like I said. Ball is in your court.

half my life I've walked around misunderstood, then I get on the interlube and no one understands me... my verbiage in text format sucks to say the least, most the time people think I'm coming off harsh but in reality its just the opposite, I have a major problem apparently communicating myself "Most" the time I'm in a forum...

after all is said and done though, I still like things sharp :)

is that wrong??

Nope i get it, i can sound like an ass, And im not a people person, most of the time its my humor, but i still like sharp things too!
 
Yeah well fact of the matter is I'm not the best communicator either. I'm not usually a abrasive person, but I've never been one to turn down a fight when I feel theatened either. I take my knifemaking AND my reputation seriously, I do make bad decissions and choices sometimes like everyone else in the world, but end goal is to put the best knife I can make in every hand in the world. I've jumped a few poeples ass on here before, its not out of hate or spite or anything like that, its just that maybe I felt like my trade or reputation was being comprimised. I have no ill will toward anyone. I'm doing the best I can. When I'm not at my best. Sometimes its my fault, and sometimes its not. Just like everybody else on this mudball called earth. Let's put it all behind us and drink some beer! I love you guys! Cheers!

I need to give you a call one of these days, my wife's granddad has cancer and is on his last days so its been real busy and hectic over here. Are you gunna be free some time this weekend?
 
My uncle just gave me a very nice 1970's(?) vintage Black & Decker cross sliding tablesaw and about 10 pounds of beautiful black walnut. I am almost speechless. :eek:

And by "just gave" I mean earlier this week. I just haven't been on much. :o
