I must be one of the only Beckerheads that isn't totally enamored with the ZT line. I dunno. I have the 350 which is nice, but the larger ones just don't do it for me. Too heavy, too bulky, too cumbersome.

No you aren't. I don't even own one. Almost pulled the trigger on the 0350-SW, but backed out at the last minute, because I just knew it wouldn't get used like my Spyderco Manix2. Don't get me wrong, I think the entire ZT line is uber nice, but they're just not for me. Dammit, I'm glad there are options for us knife knuts...

Wake me up when it's back down to 3-4 cents/ round

Seriously. Kicking myself in the rear end for not grabbing a brick or two every month. Been stockpiling 12g instead ... which is still roughly the same price now as it was before the craziness. Hindsight, and all that :/

Started making the wood onlays for the Becker folder. Should take a day or two of my lazy ass decides to finish them any time soon.

Wow! That looks like one deadly chunk of Black & Tan right there. I like the larger blade profile and bolstered scales. Would love to get my hands on a Yuma one day. Some great work right there TM.

So all this talk about folders.... considering getting a Benchmade for edc.

Need blade length 3" max, not a fan of the Mini Grip (handle is too short).

Debating between the 525 Mini Presidio (154cm, thumb-stud, drop point, aluminum scales)

or the Bone Collector Small (D2, blade hole, hollow ground, g10 scales).

They basically have the same handle except the scale material.

Any thoughts?

What's Black & Tan and tradewater loves it?
this is......... the TW Special

and it's on the way to Barlow...
Hell yeah.

That is completely sick. Damn. Congrats on on fine looking blade. Nice work as always Todd.

Damn JAFW nice score. I wonder if the tools they made back then are better that the ones now. Ill bet it'll last you another decade or two of you take care of it.

Pure looks (and let's admit that goes a long way with a everyday carry) that bone collector is a handsome knife. And to back it up the D2 holds a wicked edge and the G10 + thumb hole would seal the functional deal for me. Alum. scales painted tend to chip with a lot of use---G10 is prolly heavy but will hold up better. Just my 2 cents.....

Also a good pocket clip is a must for me. I like the deep carry ones....

Spyderco Native5 has a 3" blade, S35VN, G10 handle.. I have had the FRN version (S30V 3 1/8" blade though) as an EDC for years.. One of the best knives I have ever owned.

Better hurry up and get this one finished up and a new one started, so the mods can go to bed early tonight.

C'mon people, it's time to get it done!
