Very nice work todd,

ANd mrn8 go with the rodent 4 the rodent 3 handle is really small.

I've been leaning in that direction. Mostly because I have an ESEE3 that I love, and I'd hate for that to be ruined by the SR3. :) I also don't really have anything in the size range of the SR4 right now. The BK16 is close, but I think my wife has claimed that one as hers, since I pinned the handle on it.

Geez, Trade. Got your own custom stamped initials too? That's worth 'bout $100 bucks per letter, right?

You bet it is. I have never owned a custom knife before and I'm stoked to put it mildly. Ted did a hell of a job on it.

what's black & tan and tradewater loves it?

and it's on the way to barlow...
Hell yeah.

damn.....

Todd, VERY nice looking rocks you have. They are slightly reminiscent of a 710 styled photo. Very pleasing, however you both put these works of art in front of the rocks, not sure why you do that.

Trade, that TWS is gorgeous man! Now, when you get it, beat the ever loving crap out of it! If she is that pretty, she needs to be brought down a level or two.

I must be one of the only Beckerheads that isn't totally enamored with the ZT line. I dunno. I have the 350 which is nice, but the larger ones just don't do it for me. Too heavy, too bulky, too cumbersome.

Agreed. Get this instead. An 0561

:p

I will admit that the only reason I got my 0560 is because it is fun to flip. I haven't carried it since deer season.
Elmax does take a hell of an edge.

Other than my Terrio on order, the 0566 will probably be my next knife purchase. It seems like a much more pocketable size.

I've got a Scrapmax which I really need to get a sheath for so I can carry it. I really should talk to Al about that.

I finally got to see in person and hold some of the ZT line and I was very underwhelmed, to me they are over sized, bulky, "clunky"... I am sure they are durable and hold an edge very well, but If I need a knife that large and heavy I will just take a fixed blade.

I know who Trade is, but who's this other 'T' you so call Todd, Travenganza is I have no idea ??

and on another note, for the record...

"outside my balcony, I have a room with a view, and I'm watching you"

just so you know.......

I have large hands and the 0561 felt a bit too thin for me. So I bought a ZT 0200 which is even bulkier and it fits me better. Its good that there are so many different brands, sizes and styles. Something for everyone.

I'm with you. I got a Benchmade Adamas somewhere around 1/3 of the price of some of the ZTs to quench the overbuilt folder desire. I do like it quite a bit and enjoy the thought of having a folder I could baton through a 2x4, but I don't baton many 2x4's and just haven't used it much so it's been on the "might be selling" list.

I bought something from daizee the other day and we found out that we live near each other. So we arranged a face-to-face. Nice guy. He showed me a nice little knife that he made called a kiridashi. We arranged a trade for it and after using it for a while, I liked it so much I'm going to buy his other one. Nice that we have so many talented people in the Becker forum.

Make sure to tell the police if he tries to touch your "naughty place"
